Beatrice is a WHS Senior Advisor with expertise in Covid-19 Safety Management, in our Victorian Work Health Safety Consulting Services Team.
She has worked in the field of safety management for more than twenty-five years. During this time, Beatrice has gained extensive experience in the management of people and changing workplace safety culture, as well as developing, implementing and managing health and safety in many organisations across a range of industries including mining, construction, government, education, pharmaceutical and manufacturing.
During COVID-19 Beatrice has been actively engaging with industry to provide tailored advice and support to employers for managing COVID-19 related WHS risks and matters relating to employee health, safety and wellbeing. Ensuring that employers understand their WHS duties, remain current, competent, and compliant to COVID safety requirements.
Beatrice understands that every workplace is different and identifying or controlling risks from COVID-19 is not one size fits all process. Beatrice has worked with employers to develop adaptive WHS systems that respond to changes in public health orders and restrictions and the unique risks within their workplaces, including psychological risks.
Beatrice recognises that to implement safety culture and adaptive systems into your workplace, you need committed leadership from all levels across the organisation. Everyone has a role to play and everyone should be involved. Everyone can lead by example. As a coach and a mentor Beatrice can assist you with engagement.
She can help you in developing a COVIDSafe management plan that is tailored to the circumstances of your organisation. A single approach is not practical or reasonable due to the diversity of working environments.
She can also work with you to develop COVIDSafe plans that are flexible and agile to respond to public health situations and your changing circumstances. This is done in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
Beatrice can also assist you to identify COVID -19 hazards and manage associated risks, including psychological and return to work risks.
